Game, Set, Match!
New six week tennis programme for adults.
Alton Tennis Club and East Hampshire District Council, is holding an introductory programme for adults keen to take up the game.
Starting on Thursday 8 October, from 9.30am - 11am, the six-week programme is an opportunity for people to learn new skills and tactics from a qualified coach in a friendly setting. The course costs £12 for the full six weeks.
"It does not matter if you have not played tennis before," said Councillor Jennifer Gray, Portfolio Holder for Health and Healthy Lifestyles. "The programme is about either trying tennis for the first time or getting back into the game after a long break, maybe since school. It is also a good way to meet new people who are also looking to get back into sport and to improve your general fitness."
Racquets will be available for anyone who does not have their own. For more information and to book your place contact Sue Hubbard, Community Project on 01420 87709 or email: sue@aspiretoperform.co.uk
Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
