Get back in the saddle!

Get back in the saddle with East Hampshire’s new cycling course!
They say you never forget how to ride a bike... but for many people getting back in the saddle is just a matter of confidence.
A new course which aims to help people get back into cycling is to be run by the CTC and East Hampshire District Council.
This eight-week course has been designed to restore confidence in anyone who hasn’t ridden a bike for a while.
As well as teaching the basics of cycling, like the parts of the bike and safe riding, it will also help to boost fitness. The lessons are lead by qualified instructors who will also give out useful cycling tips and help you to feel confident on and off-road.
Cllr Jennifer Gray, Portfolio Holder for Lifestyles and Community, said: “This is a wonderful project which will help those who want to get back on their bikes. East Hampshire is full of great places to cycle and the sport is a fantastic way to get fit while enjoying the beautiful countryside.”
Those looking to get back on their bikes should get in touch with Sarah Walker East Hampshire Cycling Development Officer on 07775 595 998 or email sarah.walker@easthants.gov.uk
