PETERSFIELD RFC 17th annual mini rugby workshop
The workshop has attracted hundreds of players to the club over the years. It has proven to be hugely enjoyable for players and parents alike, with over 140 participants every year. The workshop has been a great gateway to a lifelong involvement in rugby by introducing boys and girls aged 5 -11 to the game plus allowing existing players to consolidate their skills.
Many players who have started their rugby at the workshop have gone on to greater things. Charlie Amesbury is a capped England’s Sevens player and had joined Newcastle Falcons this season – who can forget his fabulous try against the All Blacks in the 2007 World Sevens Tournament - Fiona Pocock is a current England Ladies star winger and Joe Atkinson gained three England U-16 caps last year and is with the London Irish Academy.
