Will there be activities for children under 4 years?
Yes there will be a limited range of age appropriate activities for children under 4 years to enjoy, including soft toys and storysacks.
My child is nearly 8 years can they still attend Get Activ8d activities?
The Get Activ8'd programme is strictly for young people aged 8 - 16 years only.
My child is nearly 4 years can they still attend RAPP activities?
Yes of course. Parents/carers are responsible for children under 4, and children under the age of 8 are required to bring a parent or carer with them.
My child has got a physical or learning disability, does there need to be someone with them?
RAPP is an inclusive scheme. If your child has a physical or learning disability and is under 8 years then a parent/carer is required to attend. If your child has a physical or learning disability and is over 8 years we would appreciate it if you contacted us so that we can dicuss you child's needs. We usually have three to four members of staff at each scheme to cover all the children in the setting.
Is there any limit to how many activities my child can attend?
No providing you can get them to the venue and collect them on time.
Either cancel on line by going to my bookings or you can ring 01730-234384 to let our support team know in advance so the leader can be contacted.
Do I need to inform anyone if my child can no londer attend the activity?
In the past we have had problems with people not turning up to events, which has caused disappointment for those who could have attended. We would appreaciate if you could provide us with 24 hours notification of any cancellations to prevent disappointment for others. Should you fail to do this on two occassions you will be unable to use the electronic booking system and will have to contact us by phone for further information.
There is no charge for 0-4 year olds on the RAPP scheme but it is £3 per child per session for children aged 5years old and above.
Get Activ8'd activities for 8-16yr olds is currently free.
Do I need to bring any equipment for an activity?
Unless stated on the activity description all equipment is provided for every workshop. Please read details of sessions for info on equipment.

For RAPP activities can I leave my child over the lunch period?
No. Each session lasts 1hour 55minutes. The playwork staff need to have a lunch break and time to prepare the afternoon session. If the weather is fine and you have booked your child in for the afternoon session, why not bring a picnic to enjoy at lunch time.
If you are indoors over a lunchtime period children will not be allowed to use the RAPP equipment.
Does my child need to bring anything to eat or drink?
It is always advisable for your child to bring a drink along to any activity. If your child is attending a day session that runs over the lunch period then please provide refreshments. RAPP and Get Activ8'd do not supply refreshments for young people.
